SAYSO! Sexual Assault Yearly Speak Out

WHO: Anyone who has survived sexual violence in their home, in their school, on the job, on the street. Anyone who knows someone who has. Anyone who wants it to stop.

WHEN: Starting noon April 21 to noon April 22, 2006

WHERE: Union Square Park

WHY:
  • To Break the Tolerance
  • To Break the Taboo
  • To Break the Myth
  • To Break the Silence
  • AND To Tell the Truth
Voices and Faces:
Charlotte Pierce-Baker
Charlotte Pierce-Baker, Professor, Author
"The way out is to tell: Speak the acts perpetrated upon us, speak the atrocities, speak the injustices, speak the violations of the soul. Someone will listen, someone will believe our stories, someone will join us."
