Populations served:
Survivors of any crime with an emphasis on rape, sexual abuse and domestic violence, including:
- all ages.
- significant others.
- non-offending parents.
- undocumented immigrants.
Fees for services:
Some services as indicated below*. CVB reimbursement is utilized when applicable, and / or fee is waived.
Medical Services
- 24-hour 7 day a week rape crisis counselors in the Emergency Department.
- Medical / forensic examination* including HIV prophylaxis, date rape drug testing, and pregnancy prevention.
- Trained sexual assault examiners on call.
Advocacy:
- Criminal justice advocacy.
- Other types of advocacy.
Counseling:
- Short-term individual.
- Long-term individual.
- Short-term group counseling as scheduled.
- Telephone counseling.
Other Services:
- Information and referral services to all populations.
- Creative arts therapy.
Educational / Training Services
- Community education.
- Police sensitivity trainings.
- Professional trainings (fees may apply.)
Volunteer Opportunities:
- Emergency Department Rape Crisis Counselors.
- Speaking / Presentation.
- General office opportunities.
Special Considerations
- Adolescents can receive medical / counseling services from the ages of 12+ without parental consent.
