Physically abused children under age 10, including:

 

 

  • sexually abused children under age 12

Fees for Services

 

None.

 

 

Medical Services

 

  • Specialized medical exams for the evaluation of physical and sexual abuse provided on site Monday 10am-6pm, Tuesday and Thursday 1pm-9pm, and Wednesday and Friday 9am-5pm.

     

  • To be referred at other times.

     

Advocacy

 

  • Criminal justice advocacy.

     

  • Other types of advocacy.

     

Counseling

 

  • Short-term individual.

     

  • Group counseling.

Special Considerations

  • A multidisciplinary team consisting of Safe Horizon, the NYPD Brooklyn Child Abuse Squad, Administration for Children's Services, the Brooklyn Hospital Center , the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office Crimes Against Children Bureau, and Corporation Counsel coordinates investigations of child sexual / physical abuse.
