The Torch
Took over Union Square May 18, 2008

Survivors, friends, family and others came together to celebrate healing and recovery from sexual violence. The festival featured music, performances, dancers, spoken word, inspirational speakers, and more. All ages and populations served. Including undocumented immigrants and offenders.

Fees for Services:

Free or low cost health care. Pregnancy, STI and HIV Testings are free.

Medical Services:

  • STI and HIV tests, examinations.
  • Mental Health Care
  • Emergency Contraception

Advocacy:

  • Social worker available for all referrals

Counseling:

  • Short Term Individual mental health
  • Long term and group referred out

Other Services:

  • Transgender Program
  • Informational and referral programs

Educational / Training Services:

  • HIV care
  • Safe sex practices

Special Considerations:

We respect client confidentiality, ages 18 and under do not need parental permission for exams and testing.
