Populations Served

Assists male and female surviviors of rape, attempted rape, childhood sexual abuse, and incest; as well as their families and significant others.

Fees for services:

Services are free of charge.

Medical Services:

  • 24-hour 7 days a week rape crisis counselors in the Emergency Department.
  • Medical forensic examination including HIV prophylaxis and pregnancy prevention.

Advocacy:

Emergency Room Volunteer advocates for survivors.

Special Considerations

We respect client confidentiality.

Counseling:

  • Short term Individual counseling
  • Crisis intervention in the Emergency Department of Wyckoff Medical Center by trained advocates
  • Phone counseling

  • Community outreach and preventive education workshops
