Fees for services:

All services are free of charge

Medical Services

  • SAFE examiners on-call 24 hours a day
  • Medical/forensic examination including HIV prophylaxis, treatment for STD’s, and pregnancy prevention. Full follow-up services provided.
  • All our SAFE examiners are sensitive and knowledgeable regarding work with trauma survivors.

Advocacy:

  • Trained rape counselors from the SAVI program are available during evenings and week-ends. EHC Social Workers provide information and support.

Counseling:

  • Individual counseling through the EHC Sexual Assault Treatment Program and the Mt. Sinai SAVI Program. This service is available to all survivors, regardless of how long ago the assault occurred.

Other Services:

  • Please note that we can most effectively provide medical services to survivors who come in within 96 hours of the assault.
