Populations served:

Survivors of child abuse / neglect up to age 18 years old Bronx and lower Westchester County
  • Males.
  • Females.
  • Non-offending parents
  • Siblings

Fees for services:

Counseling services are free. Children and adolescents will be seen regardless of their ability to pay.

Medical Services

  • Specialized medical and forensic exams are provided on site for the evaluation of sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect and sexual assault.

Advocacy:

  • Criminal advocacy
  • Personal advocacy
  • Home visits
  • Assistance with Crime Victims Compensation Claims
  • Accompaniment to Court by request.

Counseling:

  • Short-term and long term individual, case by case.
  • Group counseling for sexually abused adolescents
  • Parenting group

Other Services:

  • Information and referral services
  • Facilitate access to pediatric or adolescent medical clinic
  • Subspecialty referrals

Educational / Training Services

  • Training for the identification of child physical, sexual abuse and mistreatment for mandated reporters of child abuse is provided regularly
  • Professional trainings

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Licensed volunteers

Special Considerations

  • A multidisciplinary team consisting of the NYPD, Administration for Children's Services and the local District Attorney's Office coordinates investigations of child Sexual / physical abuse
