Survivors of sexual assault, and child sexual abuse including:
  • all ages 14+.
  • females.
  • males.
  • significant others.
  • non-offending parents.
  • undocumented immigrants.

Fees for services:

Counseling services are free.  Fees for medical and psychiatric services with CVB available.  Free acupuncture clinic for stress reduction.

Medical Services

  • 24-hour 7 day a week rape crisis counselors in the Emergency Department of St. Vincent's Hospital and NYU Downtown Hospital.
  • Medical forensic examination including HIV prophylaxis and pregnancy prevention.

Advocacy:

  • Criminal justice advocacy.

Counseling:

  • Short-term individual.
  • Short-term group counseling as scheduled.
  • Telephone counseling.

Other Services:

  • Information and referral services.

Educational / Training Services

  • Community education.
  • Police sensitivity trainings.
  • Professional trainings.

  • Parental consent may be required for adolescents receiving medical treatment but not counseling treatment.
