You can be involved! If you like the spotlight, come to our stage, share your voice, your music, your words, your dance. If you are more behind-the-scenes, come be a part of the audience supporting survivors as they tell their stories, hand out programs, or sit at the information table. Just bringing your friends will be an act of rebellion and a positive action.
SAY SO! is looking for PERFORMERS of all genres to break the silence. The event will feature:
We are currently seeking submissions from artists and companies working in music and dance including, folk, traditional, and contemporary expressions. We are also looking for performance groups (actors/sketch groups), spoken word artists, poets. Each showcase must be appropriate for a 15-minute presentation on an outdoor stage. Basic sound equipment will be available.
Young people are the most common victims of sexual violence. It usually happens before they turn 18 years old. If you want it to stop, become a part of SAY SO! this year.
