Populations served:

Survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and physical assault including:

all ages 12+.
females.
undocumented immigrants.
significant others.
males.
non-offending parents.

Fees for services:

Some services as indicated below*. Insurance is billed and CVB reimbursement is utilized when applicable. Otherwise, DOVE services are free of charge.

Medical Services

24-hour 7 day a week rape crisis and domestic violence counselors in the Emergency Department.
Medical / forensic examination* including HIV prophylaxis, date rape drug testing, and pregnancy prevention.
Psychiatric evaluations at Outpatient Psychiatry Department.
Once assessment done by DOVE Social worker, client eligible for free short-term psychopharmacology by DOVE psychiatrist.

Advocacy:

Criminal justice advocacy for survivors of rape / sexual assault and domestic violence.
Other types of advocacy.

Counseling:

Short-term individual up to a year.
Ongoing drop-in group counseling for survivors of rape / sexual assault and domestic violence.
Telephone counseling.

Other Services:

Information and referral services for survivors of above crimes including co-survivors of homicide.
Family therapy for survivors of rape / sexual assault and significant other.

Educational / Training Services

Community education.
Professional trainings.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Emergency Department Rape Crisis Counselors.
General office opportunities.

Special Considerations

Adolescents can receive medical / counseling services from the ages of 12+ without parental consent.
We respect client confidentiality.
