Populations served:

Survivors of rape / sexual assault, childhood incest, domestic violence and sexual harassment within the Harlem community including:

adults 18+.
males.
females.

Fees for services:

Services are free as CVB reimbursement is utilized.

Medical Services

24-hour 7 day a week rape crisis counselors in the Emergency Department.
Medical / forensic examination* including HIV prophylaxis and pregnancy prevention.
Psychiatric evaluations through Psychiatry Department*.

Advocacy:

Criminal justice advocacy.
Accompaniment to ACS and family court.

Counseling:

Short-term individual and family therapy.
Short-term group counseling for survivors of rape / sexual assault, domestic violence, and adults sexually abused as children as scheduled.
Telephone counseling.

Other Services:

Information and referral services to all populations.
Child therapy through the Dept. of Child Psychiatry.
Adolescent counseling through the Adolescent Health Clinic.

Educational / Training Services

Community education.
Professional trainings.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Patient support and advocacy.
General office opportunities.
