Survivors of child abuse / neglect up to age 18 years old Bronx and lower Westchester County

Fees for services:

Counseling services are free. Children and adolescents will be seen regardless of their ability to pay.

Medical Services

Specialized medical and forensic exams are provided on site for the evaluation of sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect and sexual assault.

Advocacy:

Criminal advocacy
Personal advocacy
Home visits
Assistance with Crime Victims Compensation Claims
Accompaniment to Court by request.

Counseling:

Short-term and long term individual, case by case.
Group counseling for sexually abused adolescents
Parenting group

Other Services:

Information and referral services
Facilitate access to pediatric or adolescent medical clinic
Subspecialty referrals

Educational / Training Services

Training for the identification of child physical, sexual abuse and mistreatment for mandated reporters of child abuse is provided regularly

Special Considerations

A multidisciplinary team consisting of the NYPD, Administration for Children's Services and the local District Attorney's Office coordinates investigations of child Sexual / physical abuse
