Frustrated with having to send 5 totally different data summaries to 5 different funders? Confused by the purpose of your data collection mandates? Tired of spending more time at your computer than with your clients? The goal of this workshop is to help you streamline your data collection efforts – Let’s work together to find a way to uncover the questions your data SHOULD be answering, so the data is useful to your organization! Let’s find a way to keep your funders happy and still maintain your sanity!

A light breakfast and coffee will be served in the morning.
Confirmation and directions will be sent to all registered participants.

For 15 years, Leslie Talbot has researched, designed, evaluated, and advocated on behalf of socially and educationally disadvantaged youth. In this capacity, Leslie has held research and technical assistance program positions at the National Research Council, the National Urban Coalition, the Council of Chief State School Officers and Teach for America. Leslie has worked as an independent consultant, providing direction, research and technical assistance to programs supported by the federal government, the AT&T Foundation, the Carnegie Corporation of NY, the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, the United Way of NYC, and the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation. In her cumulative experience, she has provided support services to state and local agencies in 23 states. Ms. Talbot holds a Master of Arts degree in sociology and education from Teachers College, Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in public policy from Stanford University.


The Rape Crisis Training Institute is funded by the NYS Department of Health. Workshops are free for employees of Department of Health sponsored rape crisis programs. There is a $50 fee for all others. This workshop will be capped at 30 people – so register early!
