Measuring the Scope of Sexual Violence in NYC

We conduct primary research to understand the scope and experiences of sexual violence among New Yorkers. This research is conducted through a public health lens that seeks to understand the scope of the problem as the first step towards developing effective intervention and prevention programs.

Sexual and Dating Violence in the Lives of NYC Youth

The Alliance in partnership with Columbia University Center for Youth Violence Prevention has conducted a quantitative study of students at four NYC high schools to learn about their experiences with sexual and dating violence. [[1] Read more]

This study utilized a systematic review methodology to review published literature on the prevalence and incidence of sexual violence in both NYC and from nationally representative studies. [[2] Read more]
