Best Practices of Youth Violence Prevention: A Sourcebook for Community Action

National Youth Violence Prevention Resource Center Resources for professionals, parents and youth working to prevent violence committed by and against young people. Because youth violence is a compelling issue in the spheres of education, health, safety, and community life, the National Youth Violence Prevention Resource Center offers specifically tailored resources to professionals from these fields, as well as researchers. The pages for professionals offer tools to increase the effectiveness of youth violence prevention and intervention efforts, and resources that address the underlying causes of youth violence, providing statistics, research information, best practices documents, and summaries of publications available online.

"The Sharing Space" A new online bulletin board for schools and campuses is now available to share interactive exercises, lesson plans, support programs for survivors, and much more relating to sexual assault awareness and healthy-dating. The online bulletin board is completely free (no strings attached). To insure the safety of keeping the atmosphere a "safe" place to share, each person who registers will be approved before being able to post messages (approval usually happens within hours).
