Dartmouth Medical School: SANE/SAFE Virtual Practicum

 Organization: Dartmouth Medical School

Program: Interactive Media Laboratory

Description:
Are you new to a SANE/SAFE program?
Are you already practicing as a Forensic Examiner but could use a refresher training?

The Interactive Media Laboratory at Dartmouth Medical School with the support of the United States Department of Justice and the President's DNA Initiative developed an exciting and comprehensive virtual practicum that will take users from the exam room to the courtroom.

Based on the National Protocol for Sexual Assault Medical Forensic Examinations, this interactive program will teach participants how to conduct sexual assault medical examinations that are patient-centered and that preserve evidence.  It also provides expert instruction for Examiners who may be called to testify about the care they provided.

A copy of the virtual practicum is included in the cost of this training.  This training is currently limited to practicing Sexual Assault Forensic Examiners.
