Art Spa: Preventing Burnout: Art Therapy Support Group for Sexual Abuse Professionals

Description:

This group will benefit caseworkers, therapists, social workers, attorneys, and others who do direct care work with survivors of sexual trauma. The goal of the group is to create a safe, supportive environment for workers to process their own feelings and reactions to the difficult work they do everyday. Secondary trauma is one of the leading causes of burnout in our field. This weekly group is an opportunity for you to take care of yourself.

No art experience necessary.
Two weekly groups available:
Begins November 2, 2006
Thursdays 9:00-10:30am
$125/month
$35/session
Fee includes art materials

"L" train to Bedford Ave. One stop from Manhattan.
