Finding Safety and Support Group

Start Date: Wednesdays, Mid-April
Time: 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Place: Rape Crisis Program at St. Vincent’s Hospital

This monthly women's support group for survivors of rape/sexual assault will meet on the first Saturday afternoon of each month beginning in October 2004.  This group does not focus on issues related to on-going childhood sexual abuse.

There is no on-going attendance requirement for this group - but a interview is required before attending.

Exercises adapted from The Courage to Heal will help participants:

• Find tools for creating safety
• Create and enhance support systems
• Identify and appreciate your strengths
• Nurture and care for yourself

This free support group is sponsored by the Rape Crisis Program at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Interview required for attendance.
